Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review

The Lattissima is the next step in Nespresso’s one-touch brewing. It is able to brew espressos as well as lungo coffee in a minutes or less, and it accepts the wide range of capsules.

It is also simple to reprogram the machine to brew the exact size drink you want. This is a wonderful feature for busy households.

Easy to use

magimix nespresso machine , which is basic in appearance, is easy to maintain and use. It is simple and minimalist in design with a single button on top that regulates everything from powering rinsing to the brewing process. Remove the lid, place the capsule inside, and press to begin making coffee. It heats quickly and offers many drink options such as double-shot espresso, a 5-, 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It even comes with a steaming wand, perfect for adding cafe-worthy milk texture to your drinks. We love the small design and simple interface however, we discovered that this machine wasn't as strong a cup of espresso or coffee as some of the more expensive models. It's also not as easy to recycle capsules as other machines we tested. For these reasons, this Nespresso isn't one of the top choices for our side-by-side test.

Quick to make a cup of tea

The Nespresso machine can make a cup of espresso in 15 minutes. The hot water from a reservoir flows through a pump which penetrates the tiny holes in the top of the pod. The water then mixes with the ground coffee, and drips into the cup. The machine produced an extremely rich, delicious espresso with a hint of bite when we tested it with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso coffee capsules. We also tested whole, 2% and almond milk and found that all worked well.

Easy to clean

Cleaning the Nespresso machine is crucial, both inside and outside. This will ensure that the machine is in good order and ensure its security. It will also make the coffee you make taste better. You can use a variety of cleaning products to clean your Nespresso using vinegar, for example. It is however recommended to make use of a descaling solution instead, since vinegar can be damaging to the machine.

To clean your Nespresso machine take out all the capsules. Clean the drip tray and the capsule container. Fill a sink with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Let the drip tray and capsule container soak in soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the gunk and stain. Rinse them with hot water, then employ a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to scrub off any residues or stains. After scrubbing the drip tray and capsule containers then rinse them once more and allow them to dry completely before returning them to your machine.

After your machine has been cleaned then it's time to descale it. Follow the steps in your manual for a specific procedure. You can also design your own DIY descaling solution with citric acid or white vinegar. If you're using vinegar, be sure that it's white vinegar and not balsamic or apple as they can be too harsh.
